This beautiful two-story, brick home was built in 1905. The house sat empty for over eight years and the entire 2000 square foot home had to be gutted. High-lights of the rehab included Geo-Thermal, insulated windows, super insulation, Energy Star rated appliances, lights and fans, and a back-up generator.
3316 Salena
This 1878 Flounder stood empty for
many years and the 1800 square foot
structure was gutted and rebuilt in
2008. This home is “HBA Green” and Energy-Star rated as well. In addition to the superior
insulation, energy rated
appliances and VOC paint
(Volatile Organic Compound,
the floors are Missouri hardwood oak.
3500 Illinois
Orginally a bakery and boarding house built in 1902, this house stood empty over 10 years and required a total gut rehab. At 2000 square feet (not counting the third floor), the structure was in dire condition and needed a lot of TLC. The end result boasted Geo-Thermal, super insulation (blown-in fiberglass in the three exterior walls and ceilings and basement wall sheets of fiberglass) insulated windows, and energy-rated appliances, lights, and fans.
